Hello fellow pensioners!
My name is Celia Broadbent and I am the editor of this homepage for the elderly. I'm 72, you know. (But I don't look it and still have all my own teeth.) I play badminton and use Pond's Cold Cream - this keeps me young-looking, because I'm worth it. I used to play crown green bowling but had to give it up because of my hip.
I never married but I did come close - I had a 99 with a young man at a bus shelter in 1947.
Here's me on my allotment. It was very warm that day and a bit close for me. My good friend Elsie took the photograph. She's got a lovely house, you know.
Unfortunately, my hands are a bit arthritic so I'll have to stop writing for now. Please do come back soon.
